Don Zitur, Sr. author of the book. "The Art
of Hand Tufting" has been a professional
tufter since graduating form the General
Trades School in Chicago in 1949. Mr Zitur
did tufting work for different Upholstery
Shops in Chicago and the St.
Paul/Minneapolis area. After settling in
Brainerd area he soon started
manufacturing tufted products. At this time
Mr. Zitur realized the need for tufting
products and decided to write this book.
